What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome. The course is designed primarily for people who don’t go to church or who haven’t been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith.

How does it work?
Alpha is ten sessions with the option of a day or weekend away in the middle, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’.
Each session includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

Morning Alpha this term!

This term we are will be holding Alpha on Wednesday mornings, and there will be childcare available (please let us know if you will bring a child when you sign up, so we can make sure we have enough DBS'd volunteers).
