St John’s Children (SJC) is a vital part of our church community and works to serve our youngest members! We have a large children's church that meets in The Warehouse on a Sunday morning, as well as a number of different weekly and annual activities.
Our vision is to give every child the opportunity to grow and develop their own faith. We want every child to know how loved they are by God and to choose to have a personal relationship with Him.
We welcome all children (aged 0-11) and believe we should have an integrated community where we accept each other’s differences. We aim to work with parents to have any child with additional needs supported by our volunteers in all of our activities.
SJC is led by our Children's Co-ordinator, Kamila Stefanik, SJC Interns, Roseanna Shefford, Georgia Kirkland, Lydia Higton, Ellie Welby, Olivia Nunney, Megan Blake and a team of over 70 volunteers.
All our team are DBS checked.
WHAT WE DO
We are passionate about integrating our children into the wider family of the church and so we begin our Sunday in church for family worship before moving across to The Warehouse where children will meet in their age groups for age appropriate teaching, worship, prayer, games, crafts and freeplay each week.

DISCOVER is a fun time we spend together during the school holidays. Each time we choose a fun theme to explore together through craft, games and messy fun. Discover is for any children in the community, so we love it if children outside of SJC come along too.
Our next DISCOVER will be at Easter 2019 so check back later for more details.
Our annual community event that is our alternative to Halloween. We love to bring light and fun in all we do!
This year the Light Party will be held on at 4.30pm on Saturday, 27th October 2018.
We are really excited to invite all 0-11s and their friends to our "Discover the Universe" Light Party (with their responsible adults!).
