our values

At our 9am service we welcome Climbers and Explorers age children to join us before the service starts, from 8.50am in the Warehouse. If it is your first time visiting us, please come to the church and we will show you the way!

At our 10.30am service we welcome all children (aged 0-11) and we love that we have an integrated community where we accept each other’s differences.  We aim to work with parents to have any child with additional needs supported by our volunteers in all of our activities. We have 3 SJC groups that meet each Sunday morning during the 10.30am Service:

Climbers (18 months - 4yrs) who meet in The Kings Room (downstairs)
Explorers (5yrs- 7yrs) who meet in The Upper Room (upstairs)
Trekkers (7yrs - 11yrs) who meet in The Hampton Room (downstairs)

Plus we now have a sensory zone for our neurodiverse children that is part of the Climbers and Explorers space but is open to all children with this need.

You need to book a free ticket for SJC groups, please click HERE to go to our Sundays page to book.

On the 4th Sunday of each month we have our Jump for Joy Children’s Service. This is an interactive service for families with songs, craft and drama. Please come along with a picnic and blanket! We start at 12:15pm.

Please note on a Jump for Joy Sunday there is no SJC provision in the Warehouse during the 9am service and a simplified version of SJC for children in Reception to Year 6 during the 10.30am service.

There is a creche area available for babies and their parents in the office next to the church where you can watch the service.

If you want to know more, or have any other questions, please contact - Jay (Rising Generations Pastor) or Tolu (SJC Team Leader)
